Community Service for the Rotary Club

Community Service for the Children at Yau Tsim Mong District On 27th September, 2009, the Rotary Club (Mid-levels) and the Yau Tsim Mong Legislative Assembly co-organized a special fun fair for the teenagers of the district. Other charitable organizations also supported this function.

The objectives of the fair were to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and promote the importance of physical health among the young people of Hong Kong as the 2009 East Asian Games is imminent.

Ten students from CSS participated in this meaningful yet fun-filling event. They designed an interesting game and served the visitors at the booth in the campus of Hong Kong and Chiu Chow School. Having taken part in the event, CSS students are aware of people who need help in the community and they also see the need to take action.

The CSS students were keen to serve and displayed enthusiasm in due course. In fact, they had spent a lot of time on the design and details of the game. The Rotarians and participants all showed their appreciation to our students’ contribution to make the fair a success.
