The School Hall was turned into a 1920’s Jazz Club in New York in which the audience members were seated around tables enjoying a cabaret and were served drinks and snacks by the cast.

The two hour show integrated music, drama and dance. It was an entertaining evening for the audience who were deeply impressed by the students’ eloquence in English, their professionalism, their dedication to the show and their team spirit, all of which combined to create an excellent performance.

The audience watching the last show shared a touching and celebratory moment when the cast thanked their Drama teachers, Mr. Adam Walker and Ms Marnie Duff and also other teachers and parents involved in the production.

What the cast say:

‘It has definitely been a unique experience I’d recommend to students who are ready for a twist in their school life. Or they are willing to venture out of their comfort zone, to join school production next year.’

‘I think this year’s production has been the most exciting, fun and energetic activity I’ve participated in CSS so far. The most memorable part of this journey was performing in front of live audience. I could hear their reactions and interact with them. From just watching Bugsy Malone, you missed all the fun backstage as well as during the rehearsals and the chance to meet other students from CSS. Most of all, I know that I gave the audience a memorable jazzy experience.’
