Apart from the core and elective subjects, the third component of the HKDSE is Other Learning Experiences (OLE). This consists of Moral & Civic Education, Community Service, Aesthetic & Physical Education and work-related experiences.
At CSS, to gain their OLE entitlement, Form 4 students participate in an extensive co-curricular programme including creative arts, sports & action, community service & leadership development, a week-long work related experience programme and students also conduct the IB MYP Personal Project. The OLE programme in Form 5 & 6 will include talks from visiting speakers and university admission tutors, leadership roles within the school's House system, CCA and activities week programmes.

Students have access to advice and support from their tutors, subject teachers and the school's career and higher education coordinator, to discuss their interests, aspirations and career choices so that they can make the most appropriate decisions on course and university choices.
