Our Curriculum
The CSS curriculum is designed to prepare our students to become compassionate and effective citizens in an increasingly challenging and unpredictably changing world. Our aim is to develop students’ character strengths as well as their capacity to advance academically, as specified in the CSS Learner Attributes and the IB Learner Profile.
In Form 1 to 3, we provide students with a broad and balanced learning experience based on the requirements of the Hong Kong curriculum, delivered through the pedagogical framework of the IB Middle Years Programme.
In From 4 – 6 students principally follow the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education programme, with the option of studying the IB Diploma Programme in Secondary 5 & 6. In both Diploma programmes there are key opportunities for students to pursue individual aspirations and interests through a wide choice of elective subject courses.
Throughout Form 1 to 6, students also follow a Personal Growth Programme as well as numerous opportunities to Experiential Learning opportunities, to complement the formally taught academic curriculum described above.
