To get a taste of the school life at Creative Secondary School, 76 Primary 6 students from Creative Primary School(CPS) visited the CSS campus in Tseung Kwan O on 28 September 2022. Our principal, Dr. Anthony Adames, vice principal (Junior Secondary), Mr. Cassy Yu, and Admissions Manager, Mr. David Liu and teachers were thrilled to give a brief introduction to the school.
The students were led by a group of CSS student ambassadors to tour around different unique classrooms and facilities such as the newly renovated Creative Gym, STEAM Room as well as a brand-new bouldering wall which was just completed this year to provide more choices for extra-curricular activities and promote student development.
Apart from visiting the campus, CPS students were also given a chance to experience the modern and interactive CSS teaching and learning practices by participating in live classroom action during the visit. Some students were lucky to join a fascinating music lesson while others were amazed at how students at CSS learned in a Visual Arts lesson. Some students were excited to observe how the teacher conducted a Design and Technology lesson with cutting-edge equipment in the workshop.
It was a wonderful experience for CPS students. Serene from CPS put in her thank you note after the visit, “This is such a wonderful school. There are a lot of subjects and they all look so much fun ! I would love to go to this school next year.” Last of all, we would like to thank Dr Anthony Adames (Principal of CSS) and Ms. Clio Chan (Principal of CPS), in making this visit happen and we look forward to meeting the CPS students again next year.
