As our school approaches its 20th anniversary in 2026, the Creative Showcase 2024 (Open Day) on 16 November 2024 marked a spectacular celebration, drawing around 2,000 visitors excited to explore the remarkable creativity showcased by our students. Centered on the theme of "Diversity and Inclusion", this event left a profound impact on all who attended, highlighting two decades of achievement and growth, fostering a vibrant community united in creativity.
The day began with an energetic drum performance by our principal, Mr. Stephen Hindes and our Chinese Drum Team. Their enthusiasm was so contagious that the entire audience joined in cheering. Following this, we were inspired by speeches from School Supervisor Mr. Victor Fong and our Guest of Honour, Dr. Rizwan Ullah, M.H. Dr. Ullah has dedicated over 15 years to addressing the educational needs of Non-Ethnic Chinese (NEC) students and currently serves as Vice Principal at a secondary school. In his sharing, he shared his personal journey as a minority and his commitment to making a difference. Dr. Ullah is also a respected member of various government advisory boards and has recently been awarded a Medal of Honor for his contributions to youth development in Hong Kong.
Our innovative approach to learning was featured through a host of activities, ranging from student-led faculty and charity booths to student performances, informative admissions talks, and interactive demonstrations of students’ work. Additionally, our vibrant visitors had the opportunity to explore our comprehensive facilities and connect with our teachers and students. The excitement from everyone created a welcoming atmosphere, and we are truly grateful for their participation.
None of this would have been possible without the ceaseless support and efforts of our teachers and students in organizing this uplifting event. With their hard work and devotion, everyone was able to resonate with and fully immerse themselves in the celebration, uniting in joy.
Our community places great importance on nurturing students to be confident, independent, and socially conscious. To our supporters who embrace our values and mission, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and hope you left the event feeling proud. Looking ahead, we envision collaboratively creating a sustainable learning environment for all our students.
Thank you for being an integral part of our flourishing community. While our community is diverse, we come together with a shared goal of fostering inclusion and understanding.
