Form 2 Students Turn Recycling into Art with Stunning Armor Designs

We are thrilled to announce the success of the Form 2 Recycled Amour Design competition held on 25 May, where students showcased their creativity by making armor out of recycled materials. The idea for the competition came after a talk from Plastic Free Sea about ocean sustainability. We wanted to create awareness amongst our students about the importance of recycling and reusing materials.

During tutor time and two PGP time, Form2 students worked really hard to come up with creative designs. Their enthusiasm was inspiring, and we are amazed at the quality of work they produced. It was heartening to see how they managed to work through conflicts and arguments in this competition and reached a state of ‘true teamwork’ at the end. Form 2, please remember this - "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much." - Helen Kelle

We are proud to announce that the champion of the competition is Jacaranda, who created an incredible White Soldier-like costume out of recycled materials. Their attention to detail and use of various materials impressed the judges and earned her the top spot. Congratulations, Jacaranda!

The first runner-up position goes to Delonix.

And last but not least, the second runner-up position goes to Juniper.

We congratulate all three winner houses as well as every student who participated in this competition! It was truly inspiring to see our students come together and showcase their talent while promoting a noble cause!
