Let's take a moment to remember the amazing achievement of Richie Jenkins from Form 5, who represented Creative Secondary School took part in the Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation - Interschool Athletics Competition in 2022.
Richie's dedication and hard work paid off, as he performed exceptionally well in the 5,000m race. His #perseverance and #determination were an inspiration to us all and we are proud to have him as a member of #CSS community.
"I found it very challenging with the 5000m event during the inter-school athletics competition. I had to continuously maintain a steady pace throughout the 12.5 laps. By doing the 5,000m race and as well as coming 1st, I took a risk since usually the 5,000m race would not be my go-to event. I was encouraged to participate in this event eventually. I hesitated before but I managed to carry on and it obviously showed that it has paid off. But all in all it was a good day out representing the school and competing with other schools. I am glad I won a gold medal in this event which I couldn't really ask for more!", says Richie.
