School Facilities
CSS has a purpose-designed modern campus located next to Tseung Kwan O’s new EcoPark and has an expansive outlook into an open green environment and sea view. The school is only 5 minutes away from Hang Hau MTR station by green minibus service. There are also taxis and a bus stop servicing other Kowloon destinations right outside the school campus.
CSS is a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) school. Teachers and students can access the school’s campus-wide Wi-Fi internet service to support innovative teaching and inquiry-based learning.
We have 7 well-resourced science laboratories with data-logging and other digital equipment, 4 Visual Art studios, a STEAM Education Suite, a CLACH Room (Chinese Language and Literature, Art, Culture and History), a Food Technology Centre and a Design Technology Centre with 3 spacious and well-equipped workshops and a Computer Aided Design studio. All science, visual art and technology lessons as well as STEAM projects can be accommodated in these specialist facilities.
To support Performing Arts, we have a black-box drama studio, a multi-room Music Centre and 2 multi-purpose rooms for dance and other activities. Our Music Centre is equipped with a wide range of acoustic and digital musical instruments and computer facilities for music composition. We also have a digital recording studio for student use. Overall, the arts facilities fully support the school’s examination courses in HKDSE and the IB Diploma for Visual Art, Theatre, Music and Film.
Our school hall is flexibly designed on two levels to facilitate assembly of the entire school, as well as performances and events. A second school hall has been recently added to support PE teaching and other demands.
The school has a sizeable and well-equipped canteen with a catering service which cooks on-site. It provides wide choices of food items for breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas and snacks - so there is no need for students to go off-site into the city center for meals.
Located on the top floors are two roof gardens and an Astroturf multipurpose ball court. In addition, we have a well-stocked and spacious library overlooking the adjacent EcoPark, cityscape of Tseung Kwan O as well as Victoria Harbour in the distance.
Our campus features a bouldering wall and a gym room, promoting active engagement and well-being among students. Additionally, we have convenient access to top-class public facilities for athletics, swimming, soccer, cycling, and more, located near our campus. These facilities are regularly booked to support our comprehensive physical education programmes, ensuring students have ample opportunities to stay fit and pursue their athletic interests.
